^Always loved this song. The ultimate teenage anthem. I still
   tap out the drums with my fingers, or feet when I'm restless
   from time to time. What's funny about the message is the day
   when you realize: Everybody is on both sides of the song: You
   see someone else as "The Powers that Be" "Trite and
   Condescending" - kids see their teachers / parents - BUT the
   parents / teachers often see the kids as being like that!^
