fingers crossed. I turned a little orange knob at the bottom a
   1/4 turn and "ka-thunk" i heard a different motor or fan kicking
   in. Hopefully it was just stuck in defrost mode.... I just wish
   fridges didn't take so much time - time to defrost - change
   something - turn back to cool - wait to see if things freeze
   again. pain in the butt because there's no instant
   gratification, no instant, "hey guys! it's fixed!" It's more
   like "hey guys, this *might* work", which is always
   disappointing not just to your audience, but to yourself as the
   red neck fixer upper. I like "bing bang boom" - "Wow, fixed
   already?" hah, not with refrigerators. "
