I think people are like icebergs -- we see the tip of it sitting outside of the water and go, "Yes! I know that iceberg through and through!" - but then we can't see under the water, where the iceberg is actually a mile deeper and wider. (how many ships sank when they judged the iceberg by what they saw and never gave what lies beneath a second thought). People are always far more complex than they appear on the surface. Words and appearances make up but 1% of what a person really is, I believe. "
