^There is a demon and an angel that lives inside of each of us.
   The demon is always waiting for the moment certain thoughts or
   feelings cross your mind and encourages you to hang on to them.
   Sadness, Anger, Bitterness, Cheating, Jealousy, Rage, Secrecy,
   Lying, Disappointment, Envy, Hiding are just a few. "She hates
   me", "You'll never understand", "I'm not worth it", "I'm better
   than you", "Don't let him know", "I wish you'd just blow away
   and die", "Don't get involved", "Don't bother", "How can I
   manipulate this sitution to my benefit?" - these are the
   whispers of your personal demon. The angels voice is quieter,
   but if you listen, the angel is always there. It is a quieter
   power, strong and silent, far more powerful than the demon. But
   the demon is often loud and obnoxious - and sometimes sneaky and
   speaks in whispers. Knowing the difference and who to choose to
   listen to is a task you do every single day, 1,000 times a day,
   with every thought, decision, emotion, reaction. And sometimes -
   both the angel and the demon are wrong, and you have to follow
   your own way. For in the end, you are always following your own
   way. For there is no demon. There is no angel. There is you.^
