I laughed at the commercial when I first saw it, but, for the rest of my days I will damn the "enlightenment" classes I took at college. It's one of those classes that helps you recognize stereotypes when you see them, imagry that is degrading to women, children, men or whatever. Now I see a commercial like that, and I say to myself, "Great, AT&T is producing a commercial based on the stereotypes of an older couple living in the state of Florida. *She has her polyester light blue pants, they both have bad hearing, they both yell at each other. I can't watch a single commercial, music video or TV show without seeing this stuff - the stereotypes, etc - popping right into my mind now.
