Men like being the a-hole once in a while. Its the man equiv of
   being a b--ch, really - a weird kind of empowerment thing. The
   difference is - men don't know when to stop until waaay too much
   time has passed (5 days, a month or so) and when they say some
   version of "only foolin ' - love ya", the ship sailed and the
   party's long over. Been there, done that - hence
   relationship-less by choice. Worst side of me came out far too
   often, and I didn't like who I became. When you realize what
   your behavior has caused, its the worst feeling on earth. "
