One of my continuing goals in life is to peek beneath the
   surface of reality and see what lies within. The more complete
   my picture of reality becomes, the more I realize that I know
   nothing. I go the science route - did the religious route in my
   20's and pursed it almost to becoming a Russian Orthodox monk
   (yeah, I converted at the time, stayed in a monestary for a bit)
   - and a piece of that exp...erience stays with me. Last bunch of
   years its been trying to comprehend the nature of physical
   reality - to have ideas of the beginnings of the universe, how
   atoms, quarks and gravity works that I'm satisfied with as being
   a close enough approximation of truth. Ongoing is the human body
   - how vitamin c and zinc compete for the same place - amazed at
   one part of the brain named after cocaine, another part named
   after marijuana - and amused how drug... "
