extremes are trendy right now. Neutrality is seen as a drawback
   rather than a benefit. When someone_ does_ work towards
   neutrality, somebody ALWAYS seems to come along and try to
   portray them as having EXTREME neutrality... missing out on the
   significance of nuance.
