in seriousness though: What's your niche going to be? The more
   specific your niche, the better your chances. I'll give an
   example I learned about getting funding for science: Since the
   early 1990s, the majority of funding for science has gone to
   projects involving Global Warming. So scienctists who weren't
   getting funding would LITERALLY have to put tog...ether their
   proposals and add words like, "with respect to Global Warming"!
   One guy was studying two varieties of squirrels in England.
   Wanted a grant. Couldn't get it. So he got smart and said,
   "Studying the changing behavior of x and y species of squirrel
   native to xx part of England with respect to Global Warming".
   Bam. Got his funding. "
