I always wanted to visit some of the "less popular" Eastern
   European countries - mostly because they CONSTANTLY get
   overlooked by travel shows and such. I had thought about
   Bulgaria for similar reasons to Romania - especially when I saw
   that many villages still keep the bright colored clothing with
   the circle dancing, the group singing, mythology and
   superstition are alive and well. They also produce (both
   bulgaria and romania) some of the best Eastern Orthodox singing
   I've ever heard. "
