Meh. Politics is Sports. Points go up. Points go down. Winners, Losers, Scandal, Drama. But the US political system is set up in such a way that no big changes ever happen. Just little things, usually affecting what they do with the money they didn't PERSONALLY earn that they get to play with. They make speeches. Sign documents. Argue in a wooden room. 3rd graders practicing their signatures and giving oral book reports would accomplish about the same in the same environment, and do the same name-calling you hear in politics. All ridiculousness. I'm glad things generally don't change at all. But I don't watch sports either. PS - My apologies to third graders everywhere for my statements above. It wasn't fair to compare them to politicians.
