*The birth of the Paperclip.* This is very useful to me. I found
   the modest paperclip to be very inspirational as an example of a
   1 dimensional object, shaped into 2 dimensions, that's designed
   to control 3 dimensions. Of course it's 3 dimensional (well, 4
   or 5 dimensional depending on how you want to look at it) the
   whole time. From a 4D point of view, this is its birth-time.
