I remember the diabetic needles. Very very super thin needle.

   I couldn't inject my grandmother until I knew what it felt like.
   I had the day nurse show me how to fill it properly, get rid of
   the air, what angle to go at, how to press and remove it.

   First I tried in the air.

   Then I tried it on myself.

   Once I knew what it felt like, I could give her the shot without
   any problem.
