I just happened to enter this Timestream 43 years ago. It wasn't
   my choice. I didn't ask to be here. I almost died three times
   but fought to live. Premature. Cerebral Palsy. 1/2 blind and 1/2
   deaf. Physical Therapy. By 5 years old? All appearance of
   normality and except for glasses, and teachers saying, "HE BEATS
   TO A DIFFERENT DRUMMER", more or less indistinguishable I became
   the fastest runner, muscular and outside of being unable to
   figure out my right and left sometimes, I'm fine

   Still, I _could_ have been born 8 years ago.

   Or 120 years from now.

   Or 1000 years ago. It's not crazy. It's just happenstance that
   I've been here 43 years so far.
