Agreed. In the end, it's all ingroups and outgroups, just on a
   grander scale. You see the same in sports, businesses, Community
   associations, PTA, in families, in schools, among anything where
   there is a "cause" - all the isms - activism, environmentalism -
   pick any -ism - , you see it among gamers... sometimes the bond
   is love of something in common, sometimes the bond is hate of
   somethiing in common -- and its interesting to watch. Makes
   sociology and group psychology interesting when you can see what
   lies beneath the behaviors :) "
