   I can analogize "It's not about the nail" to "I don't NEED the
   instructions". [the 'I'm going to figure this out on my own and
   I'd _really appreciate_ you not 'telling me what to do' or it'll
   ruin something that really matters to me']

   Males tend to need to work through 'making new stuff' without a
   map.
   Females tend to need to work through new feelings/emotional
   states without a map.

   Areas of expertise. The only way to become a Master is through
   self-practice. Ah ha! [1]#yay I've always done both, hence the
   sensation of social androgyny, as I always found each sphere
   fascinating, whereas culturally you're supposed to pick-one.
