Pigs became food. Chickens - we've had three or four batches of chickens. 1st batch (9 yrs ago) got their heads ripped off by a raccoon. We learned "double up and overlap chicken fence). Roosters, who ran free for years and years here, ended up getting snatched one by one by a bobcat (about three/four years ago). and the last batch of chickens I got about a year ago - 8 killed in two days by a skunk (gruesome deaths) - and the other four lasted for about 8 months before a 2nd skunk got them in one night. So we learned: Make sure the chicken wire goes ALL THE WAY TO THE ROOF because SOMETHING will climb in eventually. (a six inch gap was all it took). "
