1. Has a self-help book ever helped you? If yes, would you share the title and author? No, I don't read self-help books. 2. How many times a month do you cook dinner at home? Do you plan most of your meals, or do you start by looking in the refrigerator to see what hasn't gone bad? I've been trying to cook more at home, but (a) I'm lazy and (b) I'm not a great cook. However, I do live above a supermarket, so I have easy access to all the ingredients I might need. I'm also not great at planning, so I tend to shop lazily (i.e. go downstairs, get just what I need immediately, go back upstairs and prepare.) 3. Where do you get your recipes for #2? If you have multiple cookbooks do you rotate them? I don't have any cookbooks, but I have found recipes at the store mentioned in #2, various places on the web, and a few from my family. 4. If you've gone antiquing or thrift store shopping, what is one of your great finds? I no longer have it, but I once found a very nice console-style hi-fi at a yard sale. It had some Russian LPs stored inside which sounded like some sort of patriotic Soviet music. 5. What would make, or has made, you more patriotic? Living in a country that is worth being proud of and/or one that has not redefined "patriotism" to mean "right-wing absolutism."
