Why Gopher?

Well really that's rather easy to answer. Gopher never changes much
and it will run fast on almost anything. One can find a gopher client
that hasn't seen the light of day since the mid 90's, and actually 
still go places. I like the certainty of being able roam around 
travelling  down gopher holes on a computer that is over 30 years old 
and never be stopped dead in my tracks thanks to Javascript, https, or 
other changes. And even better is there are never any ads, trackers,
Google, Facebook.
