Basically, what lies below all this Nature. What literally forms the base of 
it. The study of Earth (rocks). And it ties right in with the study of Life, 
as there is this thing called the "fossil record", which is found in the 
aforementioned rocks. Not to mention the fact that most plants NEED "rock" to 
grow... and plants are the rudimentary structure of most terrestrial food 
webs. "Rocks" also tend to manipulate the movement of living things... and 
weather (see Meteorology)
