took my daughter to her first dental check-up today. she did really well. no
cavities, and she was also very well-behaved throughout the whole ordeal.

feel pretty blessed regarding that. she starts pre-school next week. she had
nightmares last night that i left her at school and she couldn't find me. seems
prescient. my wife and i sometimes joke that she is a child of the corn.

i also attended a theo von show over the weekened with my brother and sister in
law. i didn't enjoy it very much. lots of it came close to punching down, or at
least jokes that seemed like punching down. wasn't very funny, generally. lots
of people left in the middle of the show.
