With Radiohead, I could gush all day about pretty much any of their studio
LPs. However, 2007's "In Rainbows" is definitely my personal favorite. Not
as bloated as "Hail to the Thief", not as left field as "Kid A", and not as
stripped back and abstract as  "Amnesiac" or "The King of Limbs". The hair-
raising guitar tones from their landmark LP "OK Computer" have been
replaced with clean guitars, syncopated drum machine loops, pop-centric
electronic embellishments. Nothing on the album is as political as their
other work. It's extremely personal, diving into infidelity, existence,
emotional distress, and more. I would consider this a mandatory listen.
