WISDOM TEETH (Posted 2007-05-02 10:15:45 by ArchPaladin) So this past Monday I had my wisdom teeth taken out. An interesting experience, as they put me on antibiotics that I was potentially allergic to and then giving me general anesthesia, so I didn't know if I was going to wake up or not. Anyway, my whole ordeal is probably not as bad as others' experiences with wisdom teeth. This is likely because (a) I only have three wisdom teeth (I'm missing my bottom right), and (b) my top two teeth are half the size of a regular molar. So, my recovery time has been short, but I still do have this large gaping hole in the back of my mouth that I would rather not have. On the plus side, I got two days off from work, which have been relaxing. My fiancee and I spent most of it lounging around - the first day watching TV, and the second day randomly driving out to various places to prepare for the move and look at cool stores. We actually found out that there is a new card/gaming shop in Amherst that has a number of the old Vampire books (notably, a V:tM corebook and a Dark Ages corebook). Quite cool to see - we'll probably take our future roommate there at some point. As I spent yesterday not going to my A&P class, it would probably be a good time to mention that other thing that I've been doing with my time in this long lapse that was filled with working and ILMA: going to school. The master's program at NESA [ http://www.nesa.edu/ ] [nesa.edu] has very specific undergraduate requirements that I didn't completely fill while at Brandeis, so I'm taking care of those now. In two classes this semester at Middlesex Community College, and will be taking one class next semester and the semester after to get the rest of them out of the way. Then it will be on to the fun stuff. Alright, enough about the teeth. Check back later. -------- There are no comments on this post.
