PUBLIC CINEMA

I have just found out about a website [ http://massify.com/ ] [massify.com]
whose purpose it is to create community-driven cinema.  By this I mean that
everything from conception and screenwriting to editing and postprocess are
all done by community members who want to work on a particular project.

I have no idea if there is any funding involved in any of these projects,
and if so, how it works.  But they are releasing a full-length horror film
in some upcoming film festival.

Horror movies aren't really my thing, but I'd be interested in watching
this just to see if a ragtag group of people can really pull off something
on this scale.
