STUPID PHONE

I recently purchased a sliding phone to replace my older one.  In general,
I am very pleased with it.

However, I leave it in the middle of my backpack, and because of the way I
move, the phone has a tendency to dial out to the Internet because the
outside keys get hit when my backpack gets shuffled.  I have no data plan,
so this accidental shuffling is costing me money.

I find this very upsetting.  I think I shall have to find a way to lock the
keypad or turn off the shortcut for dialing out.  I think it is a poor
design decision to allow this to happen in the first place.
