I have a coworker who obtained plane tickets for $10.

Granted, they were on sale and for a flight that left in one evening and
returned the next morning, which makes this somewhat of an uncommon
occurrence and not likely to be repeated.

Nevertheless, he is not the first individual I have seen who apparently
liked to travel randomly for small amounts of time to far-away places.  I
think about doing these things, but I always think about using a car and
never about a plane.
