MARKETING IS GOOD (Posted 2010-09-30 19:45:06 by ArchPaladin) So this is something of a niche-subject post, but I think I do those a lot, so you are probably used to it by now. A student friend of mine pointed me to this article [ http://www.scribd.com/doc/2557069/Acupuncture-Marketing ] [scribd.com] indicating marketing mistakes taken by acupuncturists. I have been thinking about this a lot lately because I have on my to-do list to put together a business plan for a future clinic site. I admit I have little to no practice in marketing, but I understand its need and use from past experience. I ran into problems with marketing for Iron Lotus - the entire operation ended up being very hastily put together and not thought out. The business side of affairs was largely overlooked, and this is why the business is currently dormant. This time I intend to go into business work with options planned and ready to go for practice building. Apparently being a self-employed acupuncturist is difficult enough even when you are business-savvy. -------- There are no comments on this post.
