Concerning my post on Open Government [

[archpaladin.net], I have two more things to say.

The first is that apparently I had a post named the same thing that I wrote
about this time in 2008.  Very strange to finally have duplicated post
titles, and more so that it was on a political topic.

The second is that after reading the bill mentioned in the post more
thoroughly, I think I have to retract my original statements about it. 
There is some information present to protect small business and small
farms, but it is nowhere near defined well enough.  I do not currently
trust Monsanto at all, so I cannot trust that provisions in this bill will
not be abused through the shrewd application of lobbyists.

Food security should definitely be maintained, but it should be done
through diversity of crops and the growth of local farms and food-growers,
not through government regulations.
