Directly to the east is the door leading into the captains cabin and the captain himself is at the wheel for the moment. Here the crew eats seperate from the passengers and for the most part much plainer fare than that of the paying travellers. Undecorated except for a porthole in the northwall, the only furnishings in the room are several rows of double bunks and a few sea chests containing the personal belongings of the ships crew.
