IF LIFE WAS ONLY ONE BIG APRIL FOOLS JOKE

I really don't know what to think of anything in the news anymore. Are people really 
this gullible and can't see what's happening right in front of their faces?

Elon is paying out *millions* of dollars to "random" voters in the Wisconsin Supreme 
Court voting, while whining about how George Soros is cheating by paying "operatives" 
all over the world. Uhm, what?  Trump continues to illegally fire *thousands* of 
federal employees, while saying that, plus the impending tariffs against all of the 
US' world partners, will bring about untold prosperity. Uhm, what? For who? For those 
rich folks that will get all of those tax breaks, while millions of ordinary Americans 
are denied the services and help they've already paid for?

At what point does it become less about owning the libs, and realizing they're 
getting totally fucked over?  Will they die screaming, "But her emails!" while 
classified communications involving military operations are being done on a chat app 
that anyone can download for personal cell phones?  Are people ignorant, or just plain 
stupid?  I'm starting to think that trying to figure that out is a lost cause; that 
these people are just lost causes. 

The Wegovy therapy continues to go well. While I've had difficulty obtaining the 
medication consistently since I started due to supply issues, I've managed to drop 
about 40 lbs. since my appendectomy last July. I've got quite a bit left to go, but 
other than some of the side effects of the medication, I am feeling better and my 
clothers are fitting better.  I was very happy that my father's pea coat, that my 
sister gave me at my father's funeral a couple of years ago, actually fits now.  It's 
the little wins that makes it all worth it.
