Whoo! This is my first entry for 2024. Quite some time has passed
since I last wrote here and so many things have changed, that its
been hard to keep up with this. However, I will try to make sure
that I can write here somewhat fairly regulary.

I ended the last year and bean this one across the atlantic with
my partner who moved to the west-coast for a post-doc. He's the
love of my life and being so far away is painful. At the same time,
this is once-in a lifetime opportunity for him and It's inspiring
to see him live out his dream and I want to be by his side while
he does that.

I am grateful I could spend the last three weeks with him. They
have been nothing short of blissful. From watching the northern
lights dance to seein the sun-set in the pacific, every moment,
has just been simply magical. But even the mundane, ordinary moments,
like doing the dishes or cookig dinner, or listening to a podcast
have been so much more fulfilling sinceI could share them with him.

The distance is hard but today we went out and got some turquoise
rings to remind ourselves that we are going to be just fine.
