What a strenuous day!

Junior woke up early today which in turn leads to us waking
up early (mostly to the sound of something crashing down
and his manic laughter). Well, as we are already awake and
the chances that he would go back to bed where near zero
we decided that we just roll with it and start our day.

We had quiet a bit planned for today! At first we needed
to do our normal saturday routine (cleaning the house,
doing groceries and so on), after that we began to tackle
our ever denser growing jungle in the front of the house.

We did want to keep everything relatively wild for the
benefit of local bird and insects, but since we could not
keep it in check for some months - and those months were
in the main growing season - we had now something that
resembled more the vietnamese jungle than a courtjard of
a farm...

We spend the time from about 11:00 to 16:00 trimming,
cutting and clearing with the result that we all were
pretty much roughed up from thorns and pointy branches,
but at least we can now again walk out of the courtjard
without risking an eye to the nightmare thorns of the wild
roses that are thriving there. But all in all, it still
looks pretty wild and overgrown.

After having finished that i finished the wallpaper that
was still missing in some parts of our overhaul.

Junior absolutely had a blast and was sometime during our
gardening a real help.

I hope the day tomorrow will be a bit more quiet, i really
would appreciate it.
