Make beef soup (see rindfleischsuppe.txt) 2 carrots, sliced; 1 cup cabbage, shredded; 1 cup celery, minced; 2 red peppers or a few drops hot sauce; 1/2 cup rice Add all ingredients to soup and cook another hour. Filled Noodles: 1 egg; 3 tablespoons water; 1 cup flour or more; about 1 1/2 cups ground meat; salt and pepper to taste Beat egg; add water and enough flour to make stiff dough. Roll thin on floured board and cut into 2 inch squares. Put scant teaspoon of seasoned meat on each square, fold and pinch ends together. Drop into soup and cook half an hour longer. Makes 8 to 10 servings
