So, today I get an invoice from UPS for $2.50. I had ordered 
something on Amazon that had "Free Shipping" that apparently 
was shipped from Canada. It was exempt from tariffs and duties,
but UPS charged a brokerage fee to me for determining that 
the item was not subject to tariffs and duties.

I'm not going to jump up and down and throw a fit. I contacted
Amazon and told them it was BS and they offered to refund me 
$3.00. I said that would be good, but that the SELLER needs to 
adjust its practice so that buyers understand that they may 
get a random invoice later.

I understand that a lot of US citizens have been using Amazon 
to avoid "tariff hell," so I guess this is something of a public 
service announcement: you can't trust sellers on Amazon any 
longer. Unless it is a PRIME shipping item, you have no 
guarantees.
