I'm so bummed for her She probably should have gone into the City to our old dentist - a Russian gal who is really amazing. LnT are so big. They are so developed mentally, as well. They come up with things that are really advanced. WJ rehearsal this week was not great. From time to time bands have rehearsals where everyone weighs in on their concerns and provides an opinion on recent performances, how rehearsals and booking should be conducted and so on. Sometimes these types of getogethers are productive - most of the time they are not. Myself, I have sporadic touring experience in the 80s and early 90s, and it is painful to hear anyone tell me how and what is required to be professional. Then, I made my living purely by music. Now, it is a mix of music and computer programming. I am reading a book by N. Peart called Traveling Music, and it is pretty good, but not great. He writes good books, but not great books. How his books are a treat is that they are so candid for such a high-profile person. I told M that I would be looking to write a book next year about growing up in my hometown out west. I have to get some of that down on paper for posterity sake. I had some more important things to journalize the past couple of days, but it is kind of a fog right now. The weather has turned cold and windy, and there are still many leaves to be blown and raked before the snows hit. I am desparate for a shed for all the newly acquired yard equipment we have come into the past year since we decided to do our yard upkeep ourselves. It is not as simple as southwest living - New England has its own demands. More later, as always. S -- Sean N. Henderson, snh@freeshell.org, http://snh.freeshell.org .
