	Been a while, hasn't it?

Truth told, I haven't felt like pursuing any computer projects for quite 
some time.  Been burned out, really.  As a result, I made the decision to 
take a year off and away from the internet entirely.  Not even going to 
log in once.

That's the official story, anyway.

The reality is different.  I've been online (uucp and usenet) since 1989, 
and decided to take a trip back to the good old days.  I'll be spending 
the next year in shell heaven, maintaining this gopher hole and phlog, and 
generally re-learning all that I've forgotten in the last couple of 
decades.

And I'll probably be doing it on one of the myriad of machines in my lab.
