August 10th, 2012:

	I've been installing packages from Sunfreeware all week.  The link 
to GTK2+ is still broken.  Haven't found the inclination to build it from 
source yet.

	I installed the latest Ruby package from SFW, but it seems as 
though something is wrong, as the latest Rubygems build won't , er, build.  
I've read that the package may not have been built correctly, which would 
cause the Rubygems install to fail.  Unfortunately, I don't know enough 
about this stuff to verify whether or not that is the case.

So, Rubygems and Rails will both have to wait for the time being.

	The Ultra 5 is running like a top, though.  The only thing that 
vexes me is the slow speed of the IDE controller... I really must source 
out a bootable SCSI controller for the machine.
