December 22nd, 2013: It took me a while, but I've finally transferred a couple of old projects over from our long-dormant hacker group page. Both projects involve old Tandy/Radio Shack computers and my coming to grips with them. Both have been dormant since the mid-2000s, and both have been resurrected because of my desire to finally DO SOMETHING with them. The first project, The 4P Diaries, involves my TRS-80 Model 4P "portable" computer. I'm slowly learning the ins-and-outs of LS-DOS 6.3.1, and reacquainting myself with BASIC. In addition to that, I have a 70meg BEAST of a hard drive for the 4P that I'd very much like to get working. Once the hard drive is up and going, I'll be delving into software development! The other project, the M100 Diaries, involves my TRS-80 Model 100 portable computer. Despite the near complete lack of entries, I have done SO MUCH MORE with this machine than the 4P. I've used (and upgraded) the computer a great deal, and am going to try my hand at programming the thing. Links to these two new projects can be found on the main page of this gopher site.
