October 5th, 2018:

	Mrs. IPX is sick today, so she let me take the car to work.  I 
don't normally like driving, but I do enjoy being able to sleep in for an 
hour.  I also like being able to have that extra cup of coffee before I 
head out, too.

It's the small things, y'know?

So, as I write this, we're a half-hour into our workday and things have 
been SLOOOOOOOOWWWWW.  Our Thanksgiving is this coming Monday, and I 
suspect a lot of people and companies took today off as well, for that 
extra-long weekend.  It's a double-edged sword: it makes for a relaxing 
workday, but it also makes for a LONG workday... *sigh* 

Eight-and-a-half hours to go.

I suppose I should make a plan for our weekend.  The missus and I are 
doing a final Autumn cleanup before the snow falls (and stays), and I want 
to have our snow-clearing stuff at hand so I don't have to trudge through 
snow to get at them again...

Apart from that, I'm anticipating a lot of coffee this weekend.  I dragged 
the Cappucino machine out while cleaning the kitchen :)
