February 8th, 2018: It feels pretty damned cold today. A quick look at the Environment Canada website shows that it's only -26ÂC (-36°C with the wind chill), but it *feels* much colder. Probably due to the humidity. Whatever the reason, I was glad to have had a cup of coffee before I left for work this morning, and gladder still that my buses were running on time. In SDF news, I've finally posted on my MOTD site after two-and-a-half years. I'm going to be shifting focus and, rather than deal strictly with retrocomputing, I'll be adding my cycling adventures to the mix. Two of my New Years Resolutions were to cycle more and to be more community involved, so this way I get to kill two birds with one stone. SDF is a great community, and I've been taking it for granted for far too long (have I *really* been here over a decade?!). Speaking of community, I'm getting together with my old Thugs cohort Slam for coffee tonight. Haven't seen him in over a year, and I'm looking forward to reconnecting in person, rather than our usual method of using Google+. Like me, he's had a number of irons in the fire, and I'm curious to see what he's been up to. I'll have to talk to him about collaborating on a few projects, as there are a few things I'm working on that could use his involvement.
