March 16th, 2018:

	The weekend is upon us at last!  Well, in another 9 hours, 
anyway...  It's been a busy week for the missus and I, and we're looking 
forward to relaxing this weekend.  Apart from a trip to Ikea and a St. 
Patrick's Day dinner, we're just going to take it easy.

I don't plan on doing anything more ambitious than fixing my Powerbook's 
hinges, and even then I'd probably skip that if the broken hinges didn't 
annoy me while I'm trying to work.  I've been fooling around in GIMP and 
Photoshop 7 lately, and it's hard to do any detail work when the screen 
keeps flopping around (and the Cheerios box I'm using to prop it up 
slips).

Not that I'm doing anything important, mind you.  I'm really just trying 
to familiarize myself with GIMP and Photoshop (and to a lesser extent, 
Illustrator) so I can start creating again!
