March 19th, 2018: Got absolutely nothing accomplished this weekend. Not a blessed thing. I'd planned to fix my Lombard's screen hinges, but that fell through owing to a lack of time and appropriate workspace. Mrs. IPX was feeling ill and needed to rest, so I kept our daughter entertained while she rested. Not a big deal, as it gave me a chance to catch up on BBS and Usenet messages (it's been a month), and follow up on a couple of emails. I was even bored enough to check out COM on SDF, and IRC on Freenode! Neither were particularily active... I spent a bit of time playing PC Engine games in MagicEngine on the Lombard. I registered the emulator last week, and received my keyfile on Saturday morning. It was nice being able to play games without having to save and reload every five minutes to get around the emulator's 5 minute time limit! It was even nicer not having to dig my PC Engine and games out of the depths of the basement. On an unrelated note, I've noticed it's getting harder and harder to find blank CD-Rs in the city. Think I'll have to stock up next time I find them, much like I did with 3.5" floppies. Both types of media are invaluable when you're trying to keep and maintain older computers that either have no USB ports or can't boot from them...
