December 3rd, 2019: I swear, there's nothing worse than waiting. I still haven't received the EeePC battery I ordered a month ago, and I'm getting a bit impatient. BezosCo assures me that the order was shipped, tracking number tells me nothing, and I'm told the estimated delivery date is "You'll get it when you fucking get it." Sigh. At any rate, my computer projects are progressing. The MSX is pretty much done, I just need to learn the ins-and-outs of MSX-DOS and so on. It'll be a tad more useful once I get a serial cartridge or network cartridge, but for now, it's fine. My Amiga 4000 is stable, the hard drive (original to the machine) is hanging in there after nearly twenty years of service but has a hiccup every so often. I'll be replacing it before the year is out. As for my next projects, those are up in the air right now. I've decided not to buy any more computer gear in 2020, unless it's to fix something vital. I'll expand upon this tomorrow, but for now, I have to get ready for my daughter's "Winter Holiday" concert...
