January 2nd: I wrote the first post of 2020 on my (emulated) Coco 3 yesterday, unfortunately, I've been unable to get the textfile off the emulated hard drive so I'll have to retype it from memory. I wrote it under vim (aka TS/EDIT) in NitrOS-9, something I plan to do more often once I get my REAL Coco 3 online. I'm making the Coco 3 a priority this year. I haven't used it since January 2017, when I'd had it upgraded to a 6309 processor and 512k RAM other than to test. I really want to get it going then get it online, whether by using Drivewire on my PC, or via RS232-to-WIFI adapter. The combination of NitrOS-9, 6309 processor, and 512K RAM makes this little 8-bitter a pretty powerful machine! My other priority this year will be getting my TRS-80 Model 4P's Grafyx card working. I have it installed, but I don't think I did it properly as none of the hi-res graphics utilities work. Once I have that sorted out, I'll have to move all my work from the 4P's old external HD to my FreHD and rebuild from there. Once it's set up the way I like, I'll have to take it with me to Corporate Coffee one day, and monopolize a table for hours like the MacBook loiterers do... 2020 will be my Year of Retro!
