August 2nd, 2022:

So, I'm back phlogging again...

I've gotten back into roleplaying games, experimenting with radios, 
starting more hare-brained computer projects, riding my bike etc, and 
decided I needed a place to write about it all.

My original plan was to start another blog over at Blogspot, but I'd 
rather not have my readers tracked and commodified by the Big G (and I 
don't mean Godzilla this time).  They're getting it from everyone else, 
they don't need it from me.

I thought about Wordpress but I don't want the hassle of self-hosting or 
maintaining a WP install here on SDF.  Been there, done that.

Thus, I made the decision to bring my phlog back from the dead, and 
perhaps experiment with Gemini on the side.  Besides, my target audience 
(my online friends) are already regular Gopher and Gemini users, so it was 
a no-brainer!

Let's see how this goes.
