July 3rd, 2023:

	Gonna be a busy day today, so I'll get my daily post out before my 
planned tasks.  It's my last day of holidays today, so I've decided to 
tackle a few things around the house that I've been putting off.  Gotta 
get myself back into "work mode" before I head back to the salt mine 
tomorrow.

Most of my tasks today involve yardwork, which I loathe but it gets me 
outside.  I've been thinking of replacing the lawn with native plantlife, 
but I'm not certain it's such a good idea given we're looking to sell next 
year, and "native plantlife" is not a great selling point in this 
lawn-obsessed society... maybe to the right person, but I'm not that 
optimistic given the people in this city.  Perhaps our next house..?

I also promised to make biscotti for my daughter, which is my top priority 
today.  She rarely asks me to bake anything, so when she does, I bloody 
well do it.  Besides, I enjoy baking and love this biscotti recipe... 
which I will share later when I answer @cosullivan's Five Questions for 
July a little later.

I'm hoping to find a little time to prepare for the Old Computer Challenge 
after dinner.  There are a few things I want to try on my Powerbook 5300, 
which will be the deciding factor on whether or not I'll use it in the 
OCC.  If they work, it does push the odds in the 5300's favour.

Anyhow, coffee's getting cold and I got work to do.  More updates later.
