January 15th:

	My Friendica experiment is not dead.  As it turns out, the owner 
of the instance has been working hard to fix a few issues (such as mine) 
but it hasn't been an easy fight.  I'm going to stop complaining like an 
entitled piece of shit just because things aren't working as I'd like, and 
work on being a bit more supportive to someone who is providing a service 
for free and largely paying for things out of his own pocket.

Which reminds me... I finally made a New Year's Resolution for 2025:  
DONATE TO THE SITES AND PROJECTS I USE.  Seriously, I need to get back in 
the habit of donating to SDF and the like, since I'm using their services 
almost daily, and also to projects like Mastodon, Pixelfed, Diaspora, and 
Friendica,  which I *also* use daily, whose developers are fighting the 
good fight and keeping the Fediverse diverse, usable, and free from 
Corporate Control.

Mrs. IPX and I are also planning to give more support to our local Organic 
food coop this year, as well as supporting more farmers markets and the 
like.  But that's a story for another update.
