A surprisingly good day. At work, we had a 'team communication session'. 
Yes, this shoukd cause fear in the heart of any engineer. However, my boss 
is keen on building teams through having a laugh. I hosted a quiz fosuced 
on animal skeletons. It seemed to get people laughing and interested ehich 
was good. Then there was bingo. Oh dear... naff but fun at the same time. 
It helped that the caller was using the 70s style calls. All slightly 
wrong - "number 15, young and keen." Well, very wrong. I finished off 
Freaks and Geeks. A truely wonderful TV programme which lewves you wanting 
more.. but that is probably what keeps it great. Young Seth Rogan is 
always confusing though. The rest of the evening was spent with Anonradio 
and some rather lovely Belgian beer. I feel the need to go to Belgium if 
only for beer. So many different beers with different flavours, at worst 
they are merely ok. Well other than a flanders red I tried in Poland. I 
think the barrel had been in a bit long and I was a little surprised by it 
being sour. I do enjoy a sour beer but that one tasted off. Sad times. I 
miss Piraate. Not just for the name (I do love the word pirate in 
Flemish/Dutch/German, it is fun to say) but for being a strong golden ale. 
I had a bottle which just left me at that perfect drunk level. Life is 
golden, music feels better and the sun shines that bit more. Delightful. I 
need a bootful. Well with some Westvleteren trappist beer. Only available 
from the monestry. Its tasty stuff. I am awaiting a new delivery of beer 
for the bank holiday weekend. Hopefully there are some interesting craft 
ones in there!
