29 May 2021 Well I have joined the jabbed lot. I went to a jab centre in Millenium Point in the centre of Birmingham. I thought I had booked an appointment.... No such system existed. It was a confusing mess in how they organised it but once I found the right queue, it was alright. Just very very long! It took about 45 minutes of queueing outside and then another hour to get to being jabbed. I ended up with Pfizer. The nurse giving the jab has evidently had a lot of practise as it was almost unnoticeable as she gave it. To celebrate I had a Westmalle Trappist Duppel beer. Ahhhh what a delight. Dark, flavoursome and at a strength which makes all good. I also have some carribean food with a zombie cocktail en route. Why not? 11 weeks until jab 2 occurs. Last night, my crested gecko was all fired up. He started moving at 7pm which is unusual when sun set is like 10pm. He was leaping all over the joint like a mad thing. I wonder if he is a horny devil. Sorry Barry but no lady crestie for you. I cannot afford more vivariums or space for vivariums. I don't often see him fired up but he goes very dark when he does. He is a funky pet but the longer days do lead to my not spending much time with him in the summer.
