22 June 2021 Yesterday was a journey home in the rain. It was proper bogging. Well that was due to my Dad going to an unveiling of a memorial bench for those lost during the Falklands War and so the weather had to remind everyone of the South Atlantic in winter. My Dad ended up sharing my Mum's Radley umbrella with his MP. It was amusing seeing 2 veterans with a pink brolly covered in dogs. I probably should have joined them but traffic timing made me shift back to the midlands. My Dad managed to reverse into my car.... He went into the garage and then just reversed instead of waiting for me to reverse off the drive. No damage thankfully. It was a nice weekend and a lovely change from the usual. Today was a return to work. Scouts involved half learning magic tricks while the other half learned how to make paracord keyrings. Explorers were planning a camp for them to attempt on their own in September. I am knackered and I don't know why really. Probably spending so much time with people and going to bed late over the weekend.
